How to get to Maragogi Beach?

The town of Maragogi is situated in the state of Alagoas, exactly between the capitals Maceió and Recife.

About 125 km from both cities, Maragogi is accessible by air through two international airports: Palmares International Airport in Maceió and Guararapes International Airport in Recife. From either airport, access to Maragogi can be made by ground transport, with journeys ranging from 2 to 3 hours.

Those coming from Recife can follow the PE-060 highway southbound along the coast for about 115 km until reaching Maragogi. At the end of PE-060, after passing São José da Coroa Grande, travelers should continue onto AL-101 for another 16 km until arriving at Maragogi Beach.

Arrivals from Maceió should take AL-101 northbound, passing through the municipalities of São Luís do Quitunde, Matriz de Camaragibe, Porto Calvo, and Japaratinga before reaching Maragogi. The journey is approximately 135 km and takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
