33 km away from Maceió, Frances Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the seashore in Alagoas. That’s because it can meet the needs of several customers and has a great structure for food and drinks.
Frances beach is divided into two parts. To the left, it has a sea with coral reefs that help forming natural pools, perfect for sunbathing, which encourages families with children and teenagers to go there more often. In this area, some water sports such as jet skiing and sailing are common.
To the right, the sea is rough, with great waves for surfers, and much less busier than the shallow water part.
There visitors can also go on a great boat ride to Saco da Pedra beach, which is quiet, heavenly and has very simple facilities.
